The C.R.A.T.R. (Compact Readily Accessible Tool Retainer) was designed to provide explosive breachers with a streamlined, organized method of carrying a spare initiator and punch inside a standard rifle magazine pouch.
Developed through extensive testing and real-world feedback, the C.R.A.T.R. keeps critical tools indexed and immediately accessible when time matters most. Instead of digging through a cluttered kit after a failed breach, the user has a dedicated, repeatable location for essential tools.
The C.R.A.T.R. is compatible with a variety of initiators up to 25mm (~1”) in diameter, as well as a wide variety of punches up to 14mm (~0.5in). The open-fit design intentionally avoids fixed internal retention, allowing compatibility across multiple tool sizes and configurations.
Designed around standard rifle magazine pouches, the C.R.A.T.R. works especially well when paired with a rifle magazine retention flap. The magazine flap provides excellent retention while also reducing noise and protecting the contents from debris and accidental loss. A small integrated retention lip also improves fitment in KYWI-style pouches.
Each kit includes optional adhesive hook and loop Velcro for compatibility with older placards and inserts such as the Spiritus MKIV.
