Modlite Cap

This custom designed light cap will prevent negligent discharges when either stealth is needed, or shooting under night vision. A negligent discharge while shooting under night vision could be detrimental to the users position; this fixes that problem. It will block 100% of the light emitted. The cap will also prevent any downrange reflection, when complete camouflage is needed, and help keep carbon off your light lens at the range!

This cap is proudly designed and 3D printed in Idaho, USA. They are made from a glass fiber reinforced material and are durable, quiet, and low profile. It will fit any light with a 30mm diameter head, and will fit any gen 2 Modlite head, excluding hog variants.

This package includes a piece of shock cord (elastic) so the cap can be retained when not in use, and quickly deployed when needed. This design also allows the light cap to stay mounted even with the head removed! It features a single bolt for the retention ring, and the bolt threads into a brass insert. That means there is no need to keep track of a nut for the screw!

*It is not recommended to mount this cap directly next to a muzzle device. It will also melt if it comes into contact with a suppressor, but should have enough clearance if flipped the opposite way. Please reach out if you have any issues, and I will make sure to get you satisfied.
